CPR Tips!

About

It’s important to use a strong password when accessing your computer. It should be at least eight characters and consist of upper and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters. You can also use words or sentences with only the first letter. It’s also a good idea to not enter your password on a public computer.

If you live in an area with frequent break-ins, it’s a good idea to contact the local police department for information about previous trends in break-ins. In addition to the police department, other people on your street can help deter intruders by reporting suspicious activity. For example, frosted garage windows may deter potential burglars from seeing the contents inside. Using motion-sensitive fixtures and installing burglar bars can also help protect your home.

If you’re traveling alone, try to stay on well-populated streets. This will decrease your chances of being targeted by petty thieves. Also, if you’re travelling by car, make sure you leave the car locked and keep an eye on the surroundings. It’s also important to avoid taking short cuts in crowded areas.

To avoid identity theft, always use two-factor authentication to protect sensitive information. You can also enable automatic updates on your computer’s operating system. And remember to keep your passwords in a secure place. A password manager such as 1Password is a great option if you need to store them safely.
